As a massage therapist and bodyworker, I practice a whole-body treatment based approach when helping clients reach their health and performance goals. I’m fortunate to have studied from both Eastern and Western philosophies as well as spent 3 months dissecting cadavers with medical students, which allows me to bring a unique blend of therapeutic strategies with anatomical depth to sessions.
I specialize in assessing and correcting muscle imbalances, mobility restrictions, myofascial pain, and stress-holding patterns. With a background in weightlifting, yoga, and personal training, combining manual therapies to help clients feel and move with ease is my number one goal. As an avid hiker, backpacker, and trail-runner, I enjoy working with those who also share a passion for the outdoors. I know first-hand what it feels like to cover long-distance miles, carry a heavy pack, or work on a wildland fire crew. With extensive study in muscle imbalances, I have been able to help clients who have suffered from chronic orthopedic issues such as hip, knee, lower back, and neck pain.
I strive to meet each client where they are that day. I provide a therapeutic, informative, and healing environment where both client and therapist are involved in learning more about their body and related patterns of dysfunction. I believe clear communication and trust is key to providing the best treatment possible. I specialize in finding imbalances and weak points in the body with assessments such as posture, natural movement, and strength testing. Recently, I have also had success working with patients who are suffering from chronic illnesses that need extra support for their nervous systems, detox pathways, and stress response.
